Tales from The Social Club: Puntastic!

Puntastic, a play on the words pun and fantastic, and also how I would describe my experience at this location. We met at Breads Bakery.
One of our members brought in a game where a card was drawn with a question and the answer to the question was a pun. In accordance with the rules, I came up with a couple of good prizes for the game which I will reveal later in this post.
As for the game, the score was really close, and some interesting questions were drawn from the card deck and puns created by our own members, such as “Why was the broom late for school?”, and “How does the cop feel after the chase?”, with the answers being “because it got swept away” and “run down”, illustrating the creativity of our members.
The winner of the game and the 2 prizes, by a single point, was Frankie, one of our group co-leaders. The 1st prize was that the winner could pick our next conversation topic of the evening and the 2nd prize I will keep a mystery for now (after all I did place it in a mystery envelope). The topic Frankie chose, with the assistance of an ice breaker card game, was “Who is the most influential person?”. Members came up with very funtastic answers which varied from Greta Thunberg to the parent or parents of some of our members to just an activist (not anyone specific).
Ok, now to reveal the 2nd prize. The 2nd prize is the winner could choose a future Social Club event. As for the event Frankie chose, he left that a mystery. Based on a conservation I had with him on our walk to the 6 train (in which we nicknamed ourselves the Sixers after the 6 train and the Philadelphia 76ers basketball team), this would be Frankie's first time choosing the event for a Social Club outing since he doesn't usually do the planning. As to what it is, stay tuned!
