The Social Club
A supported social group for young adults seeking social connection
Connect with your community!
Let's get together!
The Social Club is an opportunity to meet new people, have fun and build community. It is a group where you can be yourself and connect with others who are also actively seeking new friendships.
We will participate in a new activity each week based on the group’s interests. Participants are invited to help choose activities, which may include things like a game night, picnics in Central Park, art-making, and more.
Our group facilitator will provide support to help participants connect with fellow group members and strengthen social skills. Through The Social Club, participants learn to navigate safely in the community and increase connection in a supported and organic way.
Who should join this group?
This group is ideal for adults in their early twenties to late thirties who may struggle socially but are motivated to seek connection. Some participants have an autism diagnosis, others do not. Most find making small talk to be challenging or uncomfortable. All are seeking a place to be themselves and experience relief from the societal norms imposed on individuals.
This is a queer and trans-affirming group, all are welcome.
