Kate Libby Coaching takes an innovative approach to supporting young adults in their pursuit of independence. We provide individualized support services in numerous areas including executive functioning, social skills, independent living, employment, and education. We work with clients to define their unique version of success. Then we break down the steps to get there through targeted, timely goals and wrap-around support each step of the way.
Our coaches work with a variety of dynamic clients and their families. We specialize in support for adults with autism or a similar profile. We also recognize that the challenges of adulting are a typical human experience and provide various levels of support to those with and without clinical diagnoses.
We are seeking a dedicated, neuro-affirming life skills coach to work with clients in their homes and out in the community. This is a collaborative role where the coach and client partner to pursue the client’s goals together while fostering sustainability, autonomy and general wellbeing.
Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized support strategies based on clients' needs, strengths, and goals.

Provide direct support and assistance to clients in various settings, including home, community, and educational environments.

Assist clients in developing and enhancing social, communication, daily living, and vocational skills.

Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and holistic care.

Document client progress, observations, and support strategies accurately and in a timely manner.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in autism support.
An ideal candidate will:

Have a firm understanding of autism through a neuro-affirming lens.

Have 2+ years of experience working with people who are neurodivergent.

Possess a high level of trans competency and experience supporting people who are transgender and gender-nonconforming.

Experience with Demand Avoidance is a strong plus.

Hold a Bachelor’s in a relevant field (mental health, OT, education, etc); a Master’s in a mental health field is a plus.

Be a person of high integrity.
